Vaccines are routinely available at doctors’ offices, public and community health clinics, and pharmacies. Special vaccination clinics are sometimes held at schools or other public locations, especially when large numbers of people need to be vaccinated at once (such as during the COVID-19 pandemic). These tools can help you locate a vaccine resource near you.
Find A Health Center
Federally funded health centers are in most cities and many rural areas. Follow the instructions and enter a city, a 5-digit zip code, address, state, or place. You can also set it for different languages and the distance from your location.
And remember, health centers care for you, even if you have no health insurance.
Find a Travel Vaccine Clinic
Find a Clinic
Search for public health and private clinics that administer travel vaccines. This list may not include all locations that provide travel vaccines.
Yellow Fever Vaccination Clinics
Search for clinics authorized by the government to issue an International Certificate of Vaccination (the “yellow card”) to meet the requirements of certain countries for proof of yellow fever vaccination. These clinics may be public or private and, in some states, include pharmacies. They typically offer a wide range of vaccines travelers may need.
Vaccines.gov
Vaccines.gov is a free online service that helps consumers locate providers of influenza and COVID-19 vaccines. Simply enter your zip code or city and state to find mapped locations with contact information where vaccinations are offered.
Note: As of December 2023, the site is offering only COVID-19 and influenza locations. We at Immunize.org (including VaccineInformation.org) are urging government officials to resume its use for all vaccine-preventable diseases.
Find your Local Health Department
Your local health department may offer vaccinations. Not all states offer vaccination services at local health departments. The links below will connect you either to information about your local health department or to information from your state health department about how to locate sites where you can be vaccinated in your area. In a few states, the only contact information available on the state public health website is contact information for the state immunization program. You may contact your local health department for details about immunization services available in your area.
